First Responder’s Mass and Upcoming Confirmation... Don’t forget our First Responder’s Mass next Sunday September 8 at 10AM in St. Maria Goretti Church.  All are welcome to come and honor those local men and women who come to our assistance in time of need.  Also, the 5PM Mass resumes next Sunday 9/8 at SMG.

Please pray for the 11^th graders who will be confirmed at SMG on Sunday, September 15, during the 5PM Mass.  Let’s ask the Holy Spirit to empower our young men and women to be disciples of Jesus Christ and active members of his Church.

Summer Challenges Update… Our Finance and Human Resources Manager, Audrey Sullivan, reports the following results of our parish Summer Challenges as of August 23:
          OLA Stairs Challenge: $19, 050, which is 212% of their goal of $9,000.
          SMG Rectory Ceiling/Church Handicap Accessible Door Challenge: $6,450 which is 195% of their goal of $3,300.
