Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time
News and Notes: I wish to announce that Cheryl Nunes has completed her service as a Faith Formation Co-Coordinator for grades 1-6 at OLA. We thank Cheryl for her service to Our Lady’s Parish the last several months and wish her success and happiness in all her future endeavors. Kate McGrath now serves as the leader of the Faith Formation program for younger children at OLA.
Bishop Mark O’Connell has accepted my invitation to come and bless the new Church doors at OLA. He will do so by celebrating the 4PM Mass on Saturday December 15. A reception will in the Church Hall following the Mass and the blessing of the doors.
Don’t forget the Masses of Remembrance next Sunday, November 4 at SMG (10AM) and OLA (11AM) when we will honor the people from our parishes that have gone home to God during the past year. Also a Holyday of Obligation occurs this coming week, the Solemnity of All Saints. Masses will be celebrated as follows:
Wednesday, October 31: 4PM at OLA
Thursday, November 1: 7AM at SMG, 9AM at OLA, 7PM at SMG
Blessings to all of you in the week ahead!
