Twenty-ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time
News and Notes:
Calling all Ave Maria Parishioners: Come Home, We Miss You!... If you are healthy and have not been to an in-person Mass since the start of the pandemic in March, we really encourage you to come back and join us for worship! Our churches re-opened on May 30, and we make every effort to ensure that both Our Lady of the Assumption and St. Maria Goretti churches are clean, safe places for our faith community to gather. Please know that our churches are thoroughly cleaned after every Mass and our pews are clearly marked for proper social distancing. We have plenty of hand sanitizer bottles in our churches, and we follow all Archdiocesan guidelines for celebrating public Masses.
Simply register for the Mass you would like to attend (currently the schedule is Saturday 4PM at OLA; Sunday 7:30AM at OLA; Sunday 9:30AM at SMG; and Sunday 11:00AM at OLA) by emailing Janine Sano ([email protected]) or calling our Parish Office (781-598-4313) by Thursday at 12noon. Everyone needs to wear a mask or face covering in church and observe social distancing directions.
Don't settle for our weekly virtual Mass if you can be with us in person... We know you ache to receive the Body of Christ in Holy Communion, and Jesus aches to be in communion with you through the Holy Eucharist. So, "Be Not Afraid!". We look forward to seeing you in church very soon.
Blessings to all of you in the week ahead!
