Thirty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time

News and Notes:

Every year during the month of November the Church remembers in a special way all the faithful departed, and commends their souls to the mercy of God.  This November, given the devastating loss of life our nation and some of our own local families have suffered, I encourage all the members of Ave Maria Parish to ponder the Christian meaning of death, and to pray daily for all those who have died this year, especially our loved ones and members of our community of faith.

“Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.  May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  Amen.”
