This weekend (Nov. 23-24) is our Commitment Weekend for Inspiring Hope, the Development Campaign we have been promoting that establishes Endowment and Maintenance Funds in our parishes and supports OLA School (and Catholic Charities at SMG).

I am asking every parish family to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial pledge, a “stretch gift” that is manageable and payable over a 5 year period.  We had impressive results in the “Quiet Phase” of the Campaign during the months of September and October.  In that span of time, 20 OLA parishioners pledged $488,000 while 10 SMG parishioners pledged $476,000.  Please read over the tri-fold brochure of the Inspiring Hope case in your parish; pray about how much you value your Catholic faith; consider how, given your financial situation, you can make a generous pledge to support this important Campaign; and then fill out a pledge form and return it to me at the Collaborative Office building, 17 Grove St. Lynnfield, as soon as possible.  For your information, there will be no Catholic Appeal in our parishes in 2020.  Thanks to everyone for your past and ongoing stewardship of your respective parish.
