As we approach Thanksgiving, I offer you this quote from St. John Chrysostom as he refers to the boundless generosity of the divine gifts that Christ gives us, “Since our table groans under the weight of countless blessings and spiritual gifts abound on every side, let us come forward with a sincere heart and with a clean conscience, that we may receive his grace and mercy to help us in our need.”
