Seventh Sunday of Easter
News and Notes: Diane Jenkins, our Administrative Assistant in the Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative for the last two years, has resigned her position for health reasons. Diane has been such a blessing to our two parishes and school. Her warm, friendly personality and helpful manner have been a wonderful gift to our Collaborative from its inception. Her work to support our Religious Education program at OLA and SMG has been so beneficial to our community of faith. Join me in thanking Diane and wishing her good health and much happiness in the days ahead. Here is the latest update on our performance in the 2015 Catholic Appeal: As of May 5, 162 OLA families had pledged $37,258 which is 67% of their parish goal of $55,512; and 84 SMG families had pledged $17,970, which is 64% of their parish goal of $28,078. Hopefully, we can reach our respective goals by the start of summer one month from now. Remember that if a parish surpasses its particular fair-share assessment, that parish will receive back 60% of the excess funds donated, a handsome reward for generous giving. Blessings to all of you in the week ahead!
