Catholic Appeal… Here is the latest 2017 Catholic Appeal update:  As of May 2, SMG parishioners had pledged $29,085, which is 85% of their goal; and OLA parishioners had pledged $55,014, which is 93% of their goal.  Thanks to all of our donors so far!  If you have not yet made a pledge, please do so and help your particular parish reach its goal as you support the 50+ Central Ministries of our local Catholic Church.  Remember: each paid pledge made over your parish’s 2017 fair share assessment to the Catholic Appeal will result in a 65% rebate to your parish. You can either fill out a pledge card located at the front entrance of our churches and put in the collection basket or go online to www.bostoncatholicappeal.org.

Here is a prayer for all our Moms on Mother’s Day

Loving God, as a mother gives life and nourishment to her children, so you watch over your Church.  Bless these women, that they may be strengthened as Christian mothers.  Let the example of their faith and love shine forth.  Grant that we, their sons and daughters, may honor them always with a spirit of profound respect.  Amen.
