Third Sunday of Lent

News and Notes:  This weekend Cardinal Sean is asking Catholics throughout the Archdiocese of Boston to make a generous pledge to the 2018 Catholic Appeal, which helps to sustain more than 50 Central Ministries of the Church in Eastern Massachusetts.  Some of these ministries provide direct service to parishes and individuals, such as the Permanent Diaconate, Healthcare Ministry, Pro-Life Ministry and the Deaf Apostolate to name a few.  Others provide supportive services to parishes, schools, and other Catholic organizations, offices such as Parish Financial Services, Human Resources, the Catholic Schools Office, and Information Technology.  Please prayerfully consider making a monetary commitment as soon as possible to this year’s Catholic Appeal.  The OLA goal in 2018 is $62,343; the SMG goal is $37,832.  This year, to receive a rebate of 40-50% of the paid pledges over their respective parish’s Catholic Appeal fair share assessment, at least 78 OLA parish families and 44 SMG parish families must fill out their in-pew-pledge form at Mass next weekend.  Please help us reach and exceed that number.

Looking ahead to the Easter Triduum from March 29-April 1, here is the worship schedule:

March 29: Holy Thursday of the Lord’s Supper:  7PM at OLA
March 30: Living Stations of the Cross (led by the 8th graders of OLA School): 3PM at SMG
