The Third Sunday of Lent

Welcome back Fr. Patrick... Don’t forget that next weekend we welcome back Fr. Patrick Grode, our deacon intern last year.  Father Patrick will celebrate the 4PM Mass on Saturday March 30 at OLA followed by a Pasta Dinner in his honor, and then the 10AM Mass on Sunday March 31 at SMG.  All are welcome.

Catholic Appeal... Here are the very early results from our 2019 Catholic Appeal (CA) Campaign.  As of Monday March 4, just a day after Commitment Weekend, OLA parishioners had pledged $17,560, which is 27% of their goal of $66,232; and SMG parishioners had pledged $9,159, which is 22% of their goal of $42,207.  Needless to say, we are off to a great start! If you have not yet filled out a CA pledge card, please do so, and offer your financial support to the 50+ central ministries of the wider Catholic Church in our portion of the Lord’s vineyard, as well as to your own parish.  Thanks to our CA Parish Coordinators, Beverly Merritt (SMG) and Angela Siraco (OLA), and to all parishioners who have made a pledge so far.
