The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

News and Notes: The Archdiocesan Pastoral Planning Advisory Board is asking the participation of all our adult parishioners in a survey they are conducting concerning the implementation of the Archdiocesan document Disciples in Mission.  This document lays out the Archdiocesan plan that calls for the Collaborative model of parish life so that local communities of faith can pool their resources and, under the leadership of one Pastor and Pastoral Team, become vital centers of worship, outreach and service to the faithful.  Disciples in Mission is a visionary document that seeks to guide and energize parishes in their efforts to form intentional disciples, and develop strategies to draw many more people to a committed relationship with Christ and his Church.  This survey will be placed in our pews and Church entrances for the next three weekends.  You will be asked to respond to two questions:

  1. Rate your understanding of Disciples in Mission (1-5).
  2. How well is Disciples in Mission working in your parish (1-5)?

You also will be given an opportunity to go to an online link and respond to other questions about the implementation of Disciples in Mission.  Please take a moment to fill out this form and help our Archdiocesan Pastoral Planning Office in their future work.

We would like to form a Collaborative Safety Committee to help us ensure a secure worship and learning environment in our churches and school.  All interested parishioners are welcome to serve on this Committee.  In particular, we are in need of active or retired Law Enforcement and Military personnel.  If you are able to serve on this Committee, which will meet at a mutually convenient time no more than once a month, please contact Fr. Paul.  Blessings to all of you in the week ahead!
