Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

News and Notes:  We will celebrate the feast of St. Maria Goretti (the actual date is July 6) with a collation hosted by Our Lady of the Assumption parishioners on Sunday, July 10 in the SMG Parish Hall after the 10AM Mass.  About a month later, we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (the actual date is August 15) with a reception hosted by SMG parishioners on Sunday, August 14 in the OLA Parish Hall after the 11AM Mass.  Thanks to the efforts of Linda Beaver and our Collaborative Justice for Jesus Committee, we will be focusing on the Spiritual Works of Mercy during the remaining months of this Jubilee Year of Mercy.  During the month of July, we will highlight the noble work of “forgiving all injuries.”  Stay tuned for further details.  Blessings to all of you in the summer days ahead!
