News and Notes:

Ordination… Congratulations to our former transitional deacon, Fr. John Cronin, on his ordination to the priesthood this weekend at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany, New York.  Let’s keep Father John in our prayers as he begins his priestly ministry. 

Welcome… In September, we will welcome Patrick Grode, a seminarian from Pope St. John XXIII Seminary in Weston, to our Collaborative for his pastoral internship year.  Patrick, who will be ordained to the diaconate this summer, is a seminarian from the Diocese of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. 

Here is a special prayer of blessing for our dads on this Father’s Day:

God our Father, in your wisdom and love you made all things.  Bless these men, that they may be strengthened as Christian fathers.  Let the example of their faith and love shine forth.  Grant that we, their sons and daughters, may honor them always with a spirit of profound respect.  Grant this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
