Catholic Appeal… Here is the latest update on our performance in the 2017 Catholic Appeal:  as of June 6, St. Maria Goretti parishioners had pledged $32,205, which is 94% of their goal of $34,347; and Our Lady of the Assumption parishioners had pledged $65,519 which is 111% of their goal of $59,211.  If you have not yet made a pledge to this year’s Appeal, please do so as soon as possible by filling out one of the pledge packets in one of our churches and dropping it in the collection basket at Mass, or by going to the Appeal website at www.bostoncatholicappeal.org.  Both parishes will receive 65% of every paid donation over their particular fair-share assessment figure.  Thanks to all our donors to this year’s Catholic Appeal!

Music Invitation… Next Sunday we will celebrate the Solemnity of Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.  If you would like to participate in the music ministry and play/sing some familiar Eucharistic songs with your voice or favorite instrument that day, join us  at the 11AM Mass  at OLA, with a rehearsal at 10AM in the Church.  Contact Jayson Cote, our Director of Liturgical Music at [email protected]  for more information.
