Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

News and Notes:  Thanks to Aaron Yuengert, our seminarian in residence this summer, for offering a Bible Study during this month of July.  These sessions have been held at St. Maria Goretti Church Hall on Thursday evenings at 7PM.  Join Aaron for what will be the final meeting this Thursday, July 28 since Aaron will be completing his service in our Collaborative and leaving us next Sunday, July 31. The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary falls on Monday, August 15.  It is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year, but Mass will be celebrated at OLA at 9AM on 8/15.  To celebrate this feast day of the patroness of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, parishioners from St. Maria Goretti Parish will be a hosting a reception for OLA parishioners on Sunday, August 14 in the OLA Church Hall following the 11AM Mass.  Blessings to you in the week ahead!
