Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
News and Notes:
SMA Father... I happy to inform you that we are fortunate to have another priest from the Society of African Missions (SMA) serve us during the month of August this year. His name is Father Odilon Amenyaglo from Togo, West Africa. Fr. Odilon has been ordained for 4 years and is currently serving as SMA Bursar and Project Director for Togo, Ghana, Burkina-Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Please join me in warmly welcoming Fr. Odilon to the Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative!
Stairs Challenge... Our Stairs Challenge at OLA continues during these summer weeks. We have replaced the cracked, chipped stairs at the front entrance of the Collaborative Office Building on Grove St. as well as the damaged stairs at the chapel entrance of OLA Church near Salem St. The total cost of these much needed projects is $9000. I contributed an initial $250, and welcome any and all donations to help us pay for this masonry work that is necessary to ensure safety on our property. You can make a donation by writing a check to OLA with “Stairs Challenge” in the memo line. Thanks for your generous stewardship of our community of faith.
Blessings to all of you in the week ahead!
