Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

News and Notes:

SMG's Feast Day Celebration... Thanks to Angela Siraco and all the OLA parishioners who hosted a collation following the 10AM Mass last Sunday at SMG Parish, marking the feast of St. Maria Goretti, the young Italian girl who was martyred for her faith in Christ in 1902.  Speaking of SMG parish, we will be celebrating their 60th anniversary next year.

Stairs Challenge... Once again, I invite all OLA parishioners to join me in making a contribution to our Summer Stairs Challenge, which will provide sufficient funds to pay the $9000 bill for the needed repair work on two sets of stairs: at the front entrance of the Collaborative Office Building on Grove St.; and at the Chapel entrance of OLA Church.  All donations are welcome; simply put “Stairs Challenge” in the memo line of your check and place it in the collection basket or send it in the mail to 17 Grove St.  Many thanks for your faithful stewardship and concern for safety in all our buildings and on our grounds.

Blessings to all of you in the summer days ahead!
