The Epiphany of the Lord
and Notes: Thanks to Jim Dennis and all those who performed or supported the Christmas Concert on December 14 in any way. The concert was outstanding in quality…the musicians, our cantors and choir, members of the Dennis family, the Sweet Trebles (the girls A Cappella group from Lynnfield High School), other special guests including Santa and his elves, and of course, the appreciative audience. During the concert, the honoree Sister Josephine Harty OSF, read the narrative of Jesus birth. Celebrating 50 years as a professed religious and 33 years as a third grade teacher at OLA School, Sister was presented with a bouquet of flowers in gratitude for her many years of service to the Church. All proceeds of this concert will go to the Kate Sullivan Scholarship Fund at OLA School. Thanks to Fr. Tony, Kathy Lucey, and everyone else who helped decorate our churches so beautifully for the Advent and Christmas seasons. Thanks also to Donna Hegan for organizing the Epiphany pageant this Sunday, January 4 following the 10AM Mass at SMG. Blessings for health, happiness and holiness to all of you in the year ahead!
