Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time
News and Notes: Our annual celebration of Catholic Schools Week begins this weekend. A choir of OLA School children will be leading song this Sunday, January 29 at OLA’s 9AM Mass. In addition, on Thursday, February 2, Bishop Mark O’Connell, the Regional Bishop of the North Region of the Archdiocese of Boston, will be celebrating a special 9AM Mass at OLA on the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. St. Maria Goretti Parish will host a Pasta Dinner in the SMG Church Hall on Saturday, February 4 following the 4PM Mass. Reservations are required: Sign-up sheets are available in the vestibule of SMG Church or you can email Donna Hegan at [email protected].
Our Collaborative Vocations Committee has invited Father Daniel Hennessey, the Director of the Archdiocesan Vocation Office, to celebrate Mass and participate in a Panel Discussion on Vocations to Ordained Ministry and Religious Life on the weekend of February 25-26. Father Hennessey will celebrate the 4PM Mass at SMG on Saturday, February 25, and the 9 and 11AM Masses at OLA on Sunday, February 26. The Panel Discussion will take place after the 11AM Mass that day and will be moderated by Jim McGovern of SMG, who is a member of the Vocations Committee.
