Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

and Notes:  On behalf of Fr. Tony, I want to express our heartfelt thanks to all parishioners from both parishes who sent us cards and gave us gifts during the Advent and Christmas Seasons.  We are very touched and grateful for the kind and generous support we receive from so many of the people we are privileged to serve as priests.

Join us for our annual Holy Hour for Life this Sunday evening, January 22 at St. Maria Goretti Church beginning at 7PM.  Deacon Tom O’Shea will be leading this service.  The following day, Monday, January 23, the Catholic Church in the United States will observe a Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.  All are welcome to the 9AM daily Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church where we will celebrate a Mass “For Giving Thanks to God for the Gift of Human Life.”

Bishop Mark O’Connell will preside at a special Mass for the OLA School Community during Catholic Schools Week on Thursday, February 2 at 9AM at Our Lady’s Church.  All parishioners from both parishes are invited and encouraged to attend.

Blessings to all of you in the week ahead!
