News and Notes:

Holy Hour for Life... Don’t forget our Collaborative Holy Hour for Life on Monday, January 27, from 7-8PM at St. Maria Goretti’s.  This service, centered in Eucharistic Adoration, will be led by Deacon Tom O’Shea.  During this Holy Hour, we will be praying for a greater respect for the sanctity of life and for the legal protection of unborn children.

Our thanks and best wishes... Cardinal Sean O’Malley has re-assigned Deacon Ed Elibero to St. Richard of Chichester Parish in Danvers.  Deacon Ed generously offered to help Father Bruce Flanagan, the Pastor of St. Richard’s, who has been in need of ministerial assistance for some time, and the Cardinal has agreed to this move.  In his years of serving us in the Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative, Deacon Ed has proven to be an energetic and capable servant.  We wish him every blessing as he returns to serve as deacon at St. Richard Parish, and we look forward to the continuing presence of Deacon Ed and his wife Kathy at our parishes’ liturgies and events from time to time.
