First Sunday of Lent

News and Notes:

My friends, we are all called to be rainbows in our time, people who follow Jesus’ lead in joining heaven and earth. No matter what the season or place, Jesus’ rainbow is always there for the eyes of faith to see.  Christ is there in the midst of our lives, beckoning us to link what we are doing on earth to our home in heaven.  We become rainbows ourselves when we pray for God’s wisdom and seek God’s ways above our ways and do God’s will and not necessarily what is humanly popular.  May the Eucharist join us to the Lord and help us connect heaven and earth in the Lenten days ahead.
