Feast of the Holy Family

News and Notes:  Thursday, January 1, is the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, a Holyday of Obligation.  Masses will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 31 at 4PM in both parishes, and on New Year’s Day at 9AM (OLA) and 10AM (SMG).  A collection will be taken up at all these Masses.  Many thanks to Jim Dennis and all those who contributed to the Christmas Concert on December 14 at OLA: singers, musicians, promoters, sponsors, donors, live audience members and anyone who helped us honor Sr. Josephine for her thirty plus years of teaching at OLA school and 50 years of professed religious life in the Order of St. Francis.  All the proceeds of the concert will go to the Kate Sullivan Scholarship fund to give tuition relief to qualified families whose children are enrolled in our school.    If you would like to make an end-of-the-year donation to your parish, please do so in a clearly marked envelope or in the memo-line of you check.  You can also do so through the Online Giving option on our Collaborative website.  Best wishes for a Happy, Healthy and Holy New Year!
