Third Sunday of Advent
News and Notes:
If you have not received the forgiving grace of Christ in the Sacrament of Reconciliation this Advent or in some time, Monday evening December 17 is for you. Fr. Tony and I will be available in the Reconciliation Room of our churches from 6:30-7:30PM. Come lay down the burden of your human weakness and let the Lord extend his bountiful mercy to you. If you have forgotten how to go to confession or don’t know an act of contrition, we will help you experience the joy of Jesus’ compassion.
Congratulations to all the second graders from our parish faith formation programs and school for receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation recently for the first time. Our gratitude goes to Colleen Gioioso and Jamie Bossi (SMG), Kate McGrath (OLA Parish), Mary Disick and Colleen Shea (OLA School), and all the catechists and parents for their important roles in preparing these young children for this sacramental milestone in their journey with Christ.
Just a reminder: the one and only collection at all the Christmas Masses is for the Clergy Funds to support the medical and retirement needs of the priests of the Archdiocese of Boston. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. If you wish to make a Christmas donation to your parish, please mark that intention clearly on an envelope or in the memo line of a check.
Advent blessings to all of you!
