Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

News and Notes:

A Year of the Eucharist Reflection
Here is a beautiful meditation on the Eucharist from Rev. Paul Jerome Keller, OP: “Just as the lover finds it difficult to find enough of the right words to describe the love bursting from his or her heart for the beloved, so it is when we begin to comprehend with awe who it is we receive in the holy Eucharist….[As Venerable Louis of Granada writes] Oh! Sacred Pledge of our salvation! Oh! Incomparable Sacrifice! Oh! Victim of Love! Oh! Bread of Life!...Who can fittingly praise you? Who can worthily receive you? Who can love and venerate you as you so deserve?...I cannot extol your marvels as I desire.”

Blessings to all of you in the summer days ahead!
