Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

News and Notes:

Holyday... Don’t forget that this Thursday, August 15, is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the patronal feast of OLA Parish and School and a Holyday of Obligation.  Masses will be celebrated as follows:

Wednesday, August 14: 4PM at OLA
Thursday, August 15:  7AM at SMG, 9AM at OLA, 7PM at SMG

A collection will be taken up at all these Masses for the support of our parishes.

Thanks to Donna Hegan and all the parishioners from St. Maria Goretti Parish for hosting a brunch following the 11AM Mass at OLA this Sunday August 11 to celebrate Our Lady’s Assumption, body and soul into the glory of heaven.

SMG Summer Challenge... Our Summer Challenge continues at SMG for the Rectory Ceiling and Handicap Accessible Door (the goal is $3300).  I have made my contribution to pay for these important projects.  Thanks to all our donors thus far.  We'd like to meet our goal before Labor Day.
