Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord

News and Notes:

Clergy Health and Retirement Trust... The only collection at all Masses this Easter weekend is for the Clergy Funds, to support the medical and retirement needs of the priests of the Archdiocese of Boston.  Fr. Tony and I are very grateful for your generous response to this collection.

Divine Mercy... Next Sunday, April 28, we will celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday with a prayer service at St. Maria Goretti Church at 2PM.  The service will include confessions, a witness talk, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Eucharistic Adoration, inspiring music and a collation afterwards.  Please join us and experience for yourself the abundant mercy of our risen Lord.

Catholic Appeal Update... As of April 1, SMG parishioners had pledged $26,151, which is 62% of their goal of $42,207; and OLA parishioners had pledged $31,925, which is 48% of their goal of $66,232.  Thanks to all those who have already donated their treasure to support the 50+ Central Ministries of our Catholic Church in eastern Massachusetts and the mission of their own parish (if it exceeds its assigned fair-share assessment amount).  If you have not yet made a pledge to this year’s Catholic Appeal, please fill out a pledge card you will find at the entrances of our churches or go online to bostoncatholicappeal.org to make your donation.

A joyful, peaceful Easter Season to all of you!
