Members of Justice for Jesus would like to thank all who assisted with their social service project to provide emergency backpacks — filled with pjs, an outfit, socks, underwear, hygiene products, and a comfort toy — to children being placed in foster care.  OLA’s and SMG’s Faith Formation programs, the women of Martha Dwyer’s book club, and several parishioners helped make this outreach possible.  To date, JFJ has been able to provide the local Department of Children and Families (DCF) with 82 backpacks that will make a child’s first night away from home a little easier.
