Children's Liturgy of the Word

CLOW offers young children an opportunity to experience the Word in a format that engages them at their level.  Children leave the sanctuary during the Liturgy of the Word and are led downstairs to the parish hall, where volunteers teach them the Gospel in a way that is meaningful to them, and support it with activities or worksheets. Children return to Mass after the General Intercessions.

These sessions are not faith formation classes, arts-and-crafts activities, or babysitting during Mass. Rather, the children hear the same Mass readings as adults – but in simpler terms that are easier to grasp.  In our quest to meet people where they are on their faith journey, this is one way for us to bring the Word of God and the beauty of our Catholic faith to our youngest parishioners.

Virtual Children's Liturgy of the Word

Our Pastoral Associate, Kate McGrath, offers virtual CLOW videos to keep our children connected to their faith!  The videos include prayers, the week’s Gospel reading, music, and a craft activity -- all geared for our younger parishioners.  They are available each week starting at 7:00 am on Sunday.  If you've missed any of the previous weeks' CLOW videos, here are the YouTube links:
